Coming soon. SocialCareScore is being prepared for launch and is not yet accepting ratings.

No rankings have been published yet.

Rankings appear once councils have enough ratings and the first monthly scores have been reviewed and published.

Reading these rankings

  • The likely range is the 95% confidence interval for the score.
  • The rank range shows the best and worst rank a council could plausibly have, given how its likely range overlaps with others.
  • Councils are only compared within the same nation. In England, county, district and all-purpose councils are ranked separately where they run different parts of a service.
  • A council is ranked only when it has enough evidence for a full score, and only once at least 5 comparable councils have one.
  • The council score is the average of a council’s department scores, once at least 3 departments have a full score.
