In an emergency, call 999

Call 999 if someone is in immediate danger, is seriously hurt, or a crime is happening now.

Call 999

  • If you cannot speak: call 999 and listen to the questions. Try to whisper, cough or tap the phone to answer. If you hear a recorded message asking you to press 55, press 55 so your call is put through to the police.
  • If you are deaf or cannot use your voice: use the Relay UK app or a textphone and dial 18000. You can also register to contact 999 by text message: send the word "register" to 999 and follow the instructions. Register before you need it.

SocialCareScore cannot respond to emergencies or safeguarding concerns. We do not know who you are, and no one watches this website in real time.

If you are worried about a child or adult

If someone is not in immediate danger, but you are worried about their safety or well-being, contact the social services team at the council where they live. You can also call the police on 101 if it is not an emergency.
